Overview

This two-hour boat cruise takes place on the Vicente, a comfortable vessel designed for small groups. The boat departs from Lisbon and follows the Tagus River, passing several well-known landmarks. Along the route, guests see the Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge, the modern MAAT Museum and the historic Central Tejo power station, the Monument to the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos), the 16th-century Belém Tower (Torre de Belém), the Cristo Rei statue in Almada, and the Praça do Comércio riverside square. The cruise also offers views of Lisbon’s oldest neighborhoods, including Alfama, Mouraria, and the São Jorge Castle area. During the trip, the boat may head toward areas where dolphins sometimes appear, although sightings are not guaranteed. The boat is equipped with protective canvas covers to maintain comfort in case of rain. Guests receive a selection of snacks and drinks throughout the cruise. These include Portuguese coffee, the traditional pastel de nata pastry, dried fruits, toasted bread with various flavors, cheese bread, roasted peanuts, fresh grapes, still water, soft drinks such as Coca-Cola and Fanta, beer, sangria, a special Porto Tonic, and premium Vinho Verde Casal Garcia wine available in white or rosé. The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years. The tour may be canceled if fewer than three people book in advance.
