This full-day small-group tour lasts about 12 hours and departs from Edinburgh. Travel by luxury 16-seat Mercedes mini-coach with an English-speaking driver-guide who shares stories along the way. The group size is limited to 16 passengers to keep the experience personal. The tour makes a stop at Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park for about 30 minutes, where you can get coffee and enjoy the views. Next, you spend about 45 minutes in Glencoe, known for its dramatic landscape and historical significance. From there, the tour continues to Fort Augustus for a one-hour visit, which includes a 50-minute cruise on Loch Ness. The cruise passes the Caledonian Canal and offers views of forested hills; you may spot the famous Loch Ness monster during this relaxing boat ride. Afterward, there is a 20-minute break in the village of Spean Bridge, surrounded by Highland mountains with possible views of Ben Nevis. The final stop before returning to Edinburgh is a 30-minute break in Pitlochry, a Victorian town set among the forests and hills of Perthshire. On the return journey, passengers see the Forth Rail Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The tour ends in Edinburgh around 8:00 pm.
