Participants meet at 189 Hercules Road to receive a classic British bike, plus a helmet or tweed cap if preferred, and can store luggage securely. The ride begins with a loop around Archbishop's Park to get comfortable with the bike. The route continues past Lambeth Palace on the south side of the Thames, then stops for a view of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. The tour explores Westminster’s backstreets, including Smith Square Hall and Dean’s Yard, with stories about local figures. There is a brief stop outside Westminster Abbey, which is not entered. Cycling continues through St. James’s Park, then to Horseguards Parade, the Old Admiralty Building, and Downing Street gardens. The group rides up the Mall to Buckingham Palace, where the guide shares royal history and on select days the Changing of the Guard is visible.
