This surf lesson at Costa Azul in Los Cabos takes place during spring and summer months and lasts about three hours, including transportation. Participants meet a professional instructor who provides tailored guidance based on their surfing experience, whether they are beginners or have prior skills. The lesson uses foam boards for safety, but fiberglass boards can be requested in advance. The session includes pickup and drop-off by air-conditioned minivan from hotels or the cruise terminal. Students receive a rash guard or wetsuit, bottled water, and granola bars during the lesson. Classes maintain a ratio of one instructor for every three participants, with extra supervision when children are present. The tour runs from March 15 to November 15, as the waves at Costa Azul are not suitable in winter. Pickup begins about ninety minutes before the lesson start time, with morning sessions recommended for better wave conditions. Participants should bring their own towel, sandals, sunscreen, sunglasses, and swimwear. Weather conditions such as wind, rain, high swell, or jellyfish may cause changes to location, rescheduling, or cancellations with full refunds if the operator cancels.
