The tour begins at Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park, where riders receive a horseback riding lesson and safety briefing. The guide assigns horses based on rider weight, height, and experience. The route passes through the park’s tropical forest at the base of El Yunque National Forest. Riders follow the Mameyes River, which offers clear water for a 30-minute swimming and rest break during the approximately two-hour ride. The path continues along the shoreline of Luquillo Beach on the Atlantic Ocean.
