This approximately one-hour night snorkeling tour takes place near Kona on the Big Island. Participants who choose the snorkel option will board a boat and take a brief five-minute ride to a designated manta ray viewing site. Using a specialized light board, the in-water guides lead snorkelers through the bay to observe manta rays. The time spent snorkeling with the manta rays is about 30 minutes. Those who select the ride-along option remain on the boat and do not enter the water; they may or may not see manta rays from the boat. Snorkeling equipment is included for those entering the water. The tour does not provide towels, transportation, or gratuities. The experience takes place at night in open ocean conditions, requiring guests to be able to swim, tread water, and climb a metal ladder to reboard the boat. The tour accommodates up to 28 people per booking and enforces age and weight restrictions. Safety instructions must be followed at all times.
