Overview

The tour offers about 4 to 5 hours exploring the Marietas Islands and the Hidden Beach near Puerto Vallarta. Guests leave Marina Vallarta around 9:00 AM and reach the mouth of the Ameca River after 10 minutes, where dolphin sightings are common. The boat ride continues for about an hour to the islands, with frequent sightings of dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, and whales during winter. Upon arrival, guides provide snorkeling equipment and life vests and give instructions on their use to ensure safety and comfort in the water. The tour includes a scenic boat ride, light snacks such as apples, bananas, and a sandwich, and drinking water (with reusable bottles encouraged for environmental reasons). The guides also assist during water activities and at the Hidden Beach, which the tour accesses with official permits. Access to the Hidden Beach is guaranteed 99% of the time, with a refundable deposit required in case of denial due to weather or natural conditions. This snorkeling tour operates Tuesday through Sunday and includes a conservancy donation fee to Bahia Unida and a CONANP bracelet for park entry. A private tour option is available for up to four guests with guaranteed access unless weather prevents entry, with the possibility to add more guests for an extra fee. The tour does not include entrance fees, government fees, lunch, or gratuities.
