Participants paddle through sheltered coves and past beaches surrounded by native bush. The tour is guided by an experienced local who shares information about the area's history and environment. Groups are limited to one guide for every eight kayakers to keep the experience manageable and safe. Along the route, kayakers often see sting rays, eagle rays, various sea birds such as cormorants, seals, large starfish, and sometimes little blue penguins. There is also a possibility of spotting dolphins. All necessary kayaking gear is supplied, including a roll-and-clip drybag suitable for a small camera or phone. Food and drinks are not included.
