Overview

This full-day bus tour from Jerusalem covers the main sites of the Judean Desert over about 10 hours. Masada National Park

Arrive at Masada and take the cable car to the top of the mountaintop fortress. Spend about two hours exploring the ruins with a guide, seeing the remains of King Herod’s palace and other structures, and enjoying views of the Dead Sea and surrounding desert.

En Gedi Nature Reserve

Travel to Ein Gedi and spend roughly one and a half hours walking through this oasis. The reserve features waterfalls and a variety of plants and animals, providing a green contrast to the desert.
