by Pride of Maui
Passengers board the Pride of Maui, the largest Maxi Power Catamaran in Maui, which features ample open space and limits the number of passengers to half the Coast Guard capacity for a less crowded experience. The tour lasts about five hours and begins with a 7:30 AM departure; guests must check in 30 minutes prior and arrive at the correct harbor side, as two boats operate on opposite sides of the harbor. The first stop is Molokini Crater, where passengers snorkel in calm waters known for clear visibility and abundant marine life. After snorkeling at Molokini, the boat sails to Turtle Town for additional snorkeling opportunities among sea turtles and other marine species. Breakfast and lunch are served onboard, along with included alcoholic and carbonated beverages. Snorkeling equipment is provided for all participants. SNUBA is available for purchase on the boat. Parking is not included but is available across from Carl’s Jr. near the Ocean Center for a fee.
Molokini and Turtle Town Snorkeling
Guests snorkel at two locations aboard Maui's largest Maxi Power Catamaran, which operates at 60% of Coast Guard capacity. Molokini Crater is one of only three sunken volcanic calderas worldwide and provides excellent visibility. Turtle Town features a series of lava formations beneath the water where Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles are commonly seen in their natural surroundings. Both spots host a variety of tropical fish and other marine creatures. SNUBA is offered for an extra fee, allowing participants to swim 15 feet below the surface with guidance from expert instructors. The crew, with over 40 years of experience, attends to guest needs. Breakfast and lunch cooked onboard are served, followed by an open bar offering microbrewed beer, Napa wines, and mai-tais after snorkeling. A water slide is available and enjoyed by children of all ages.
