Overview

This 3-4 hour Medellín tour begins in El Poblado, the region's first settlement. The tour continues to La Alpujarra, where participants see the Monument to the Race and the old Antioquia railway headquarters. From there, there is a panoramic view of Parque de las Luces and the Vásquez Icarre buildings. A stop at Malaga Hall includes tea and coffee. Next, the tour uses themed vehicles for private transportation to the metro station. A 30-minute metro ride follows, with information about the city's metro system and views of Medellín. After the metro, the tour includes a 30-minute ride on Line H of the Medellín metrocable, a cable car connecting the city with the eastern mountains. The guide explains the history of this transport and the recovery story of the Sierra neighborhood. After the metrocable, participants walk near the Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture, enjoying views of the building. The tour then visits Plaza Botero for 20 minutes to see more than 20 sculptures by Fernando Botero. Next is a 30-minute visit to Parque de los Pies Descalzos, a park inspired by Zen culture where visitors can walk barefoot and try a natural water jacuzzi. The area also includes views of the metropolitan theater and the intelligent building of EPM. The final stop is Pueblito Paisa on Nutibara Hill, a 30-minute visit to a replica of a traditional Antioquian village with restaurants, a souvenir shop, a museum featuring a city model, and artworks by local artists. This site offers a 360-degree view of Medellín. The tour ends back at the 9 Gastroturistic Mall, where the guide describes the main streets and avenues of the city. The tour includes private transportation on themed vehicles, a medical assistance card, tram and metrocable tickets, plus tea and coffee. Snacks and tips are not included.
