Overview

This walking tour lasts about three hours and focuses on Melbourne's laneways, an important part of the city's culture. The tour starts at the steps of St Paul's Cathedral at the corner of Swanston and Flinders Streets, where participants meet their guide. The guide leads the group through various laneways to see hidden galleries, small shops, and cafes. Along the way, the group stops for coffee and a macaron tasting. The guide shares information about Melbourne’s history, local architecture, street art, and the stories behind the shops and buildings. The tour is limited to ten people to maintain a small-group setting and includes a professional guide and a coffee or hot drink. This walking tour offers a detailed look at a lesser-known side of Melbourne without requiring any previous knowledge of the city.
