Overview

This 5-hour combination tour in Juneau begins with a 2-hour whale watching excursion on either a 24-passenger jet boat or a 49-passenger catamaran. The boat features a heated cabin, spacious decks, wide viewing windows, and restrooms. During the whale tour, a naturalist is on board to provide information, and guests may see humpback whales and other wildlife. Water and a light snack are provided on the boat. After the whale watch, the tour continues by bus to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, where guests have about 1.5 hours to explore the park. Visitors can hike to Nugget Falls, observe fish spawning at Steep Creek, and view exhibits at the visitor center. Transportation includes round-trip transfers between the cruise port and the boat harbor, as well as bus travel to the glacier park. Entrance fees to the park are included.
