This Meteora hiking tour lasts about four hours and begins with pickup from hotels in Kalambaka by an air-conditioned minivan. The group is guided by an experienced local hiking expert who leads along trails once used by the first monks. The route includes stops at viewpoints offering panoramic views of Kalambaka and the Meteora valley, ideal for photographs. During the hike, participants will visit inside one of the main monasteries, either the Great Meteoron Monastery or Varlaam Monastery, depending on which is open that day.
