Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station

Situated 2300 meters above sea level, this station provides close views of Mt. Fuji when the weather is clear and not rainy. It has many souvenir shops available. This location is the main starting point for climbers aiming to reach the summit of Mt. Fuji. The official hiking season is from July to September. During this period, access to the 5th Station is only possible by shuttle bus, which costs 2100 yen per person.

This lake serves as the gateway to the Fuji Five Lakes region. Visitors can see clear views of Mt. Fuji when conditions are good. Optional activities here include a boat cruise and a ropeway cable car to Kachi Kachi Mountain, both requiring separate tickets. There is no entrance fee to the lake itself.
