Book on Viator Confirmed right away, but you pay full price.$398This 2.5-hour summer and fall busking experience lets you drive your own sled dog team in Alaska. The location is the training grounds and homestead of Dallas Seavey, a four-time Iditarod champion. The dogs here include retired racers, current team members, and young dogs being trained for future races. Guests join the year-round training program and get hands-on with the dogs. Group sizes are usually six people or fewer, with a guide assigned to each group for personal attention. During the visit, you tour the homestead and kennel, take a walk with puppies, and mush your own dog team using a custom dryland race rig.
