Overview

This three-hour tour begins with early access to the Niagara City Cruises boat ride, allowing guests to be among the first on board and choose the best viewing spots before the crowds arrive. The 20-minute cruise circles close to the falls and includes a complimentary poncho due to the heavy mist and spray. After the boat ride, the guide leads a walking tour along the Niagara Falls boardwalk, sharing historical facts and pointing out important landmarks from multiple vantage points. The tour then proceeds to Table Rock Visitor Center, where guests enter Journey Behind the Falls with a pre-booked ticket. Visitors descend 19 stories via elevator into caves behind the falls, walking through tunnels where the sound of crashing water is loud. The path ends at a ledge beside the falls where the flow of 3,160 tons of water per second can be felt directly. An option to select skip-the-line access to the first elevator is available at booking for those choosing the early boat ride. The tour is outdoors and covers about 2 kilometers on foot at a moderate pace.
