-Join a winter whale watching tour departing from Naha or Chatan to get up close with the unforgettable giant baby humpback whales off the coast of Okinawa! You can spend up to three joyful hours at sea, watching humpback whales and their calves swim and jump. Learn about the whales and the latest updates through the multilingual online explanations provided by the boat operator (English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean). -Based on the captain's many years of experience, humpback whales usually appear during our tours. However, during the four-month whale watching season, there will still be a few days when we cannot encounter whales, which is not directly related to the month or time of day. -This is an experience completely led by nature, perfect for the whole family to witness beautiful moments at sea and learn about the whales' ecosystem together!

There is no luggage storage facility at the venue The selected time of 13:45 on the page is the departure time of the boat at the port. Please be sure to confirm your pick-up location and time. If you miss the pick-up time, please go to the port by yourself. If you miss the activity due to not being able to arrive at the port on time, you cannot request a refund or reschedule for this reason. We do not accept changes to pick-up or drop-off locations after 3:00 PM Japan time. Please be sure to wait at the designated location 5 minutes prior. If you are unable to board the shuttle or participate in the activity as scheduled due to lateness or other reasons, you may not request a refund or reschedule for this reason. As the shuttle service is a complimentary service, if there are a large number of people using the service on the day, you may have to wait a longer time (30 minutes or more) at the port to board the boat. After disembarking, you may also have to wait (30 minutes or more) in the port assembly room to board the shuttle bus, as the staff may need to drive two trips that day to send all guests back to the boarding point in sequence, or wait for all the guests scattered on different ships to depart. As whales are wild animals, no compensation or refund will be given if no whales are sighted on the day (except for the period from February 1, 2027, to March 15, 2027). If you fail to see a whale between February 1, 2027, and March 15, 2027, we will offer one of the following options: ① a full refund ② or a free re-ride (re-ride valid until April 4, 2027). However, please understand that whale watching will be considered successful if the following conditions are met: ● Whale spouting behavior is observed from a distance. ● Whales are seen by passengers on the day (regardless of the number of people). If passengers are unable to comply with the above options ① and ② due to their itinerary arrangements or other personal reasons, they will be deemed to have forfeited their rights. Based on tracking whale conditions, the time may vary. After spotting a whale, the viewing time is generally about 1 hour. However, please be aware that we may return to port earlier on the day due to the condition of the humpback whale, the physical condition of all passengers, or changes in sea conditions. In this case, you cannot request a refund of the difference or a refund. The sea conditions in Okinawa during the winter, when whales visit, are different from those in the summer. The waves are higher in the winter, and if young children or elderly people sign up to participate, they may be refused boarding depending on the waves, wind conditions, and other factors on the day of the tour. For safety reasons, pregnant women cannot be accepted to participate, please forgive me. Guests who are denied boarding on the day due to pregnancy or suspected pregnancy will not be refunded. For guests prone to seasickness, it is recommended to take motion sickness medicine in advance. For safety reasons, please wear a life jacket at all times. If you do not comply, the driver has the right to refuse your participation in the activity. Please do not wear high heels on the boat. Guests who are hungover or have been drinking will be denied boarding and will not receive a refund. Drinking is also prohibited on the ship. Even if it rains, the activity will proceed as usual if the wind and waves are calm and the situation is safe. The decision to set sail is made by the experienced captain. Cancellation requests and refunds will not be accepted for personal reasons (such as bad weather, car trouble, illness, etc.). The order in which passengers board the boat and move to the whale watching spot deck after arriving at the designated whale watching location will be adjusted according to the reservation status of passengers on the day and sea conditions. Please be aware. The sailing time is up to 3 hours. If no whales are found, a continuous search will be conducted at sea and the ship will return to port within the scheduled time. Travelers should assess their own condition before booking this activity. The weather in Okinawa is quite variable, and sometimes activities are canceled as late as one hour before the event or at check-in, so please understand.
