This open-water swimming lesson in Cascais lasts about one hour and combines relaxation with physical activity along the coast. You meet your guide at Praia da Duquesa Beach for a safety briefing and introduction to the session. After a warm-up, you take a short swim nearby to get used to the water conditions before starting a swim route along the Bay of Cascais. The distance varies from about 1.5 kilometers or more, depending on your skill level and preference for a short or longer swim. Throughout the swim, the guide stays with you, offering technique feedback and support. The guide also records photos and videos during the swim so you can review and improve your technique later. At the end of the session, you warm up with a hot cup of tea. Swim caps, swim buoys if needed, and personal accident insurance are included. Wetsuit rental is available for an extra fee.
