by Menya SHU
This one-hour ramen craftsman experience takes place in a ramen shop in Osaka outside of regular business hours. The shop owner prepares the ramen soup and noodles in advance, as the soup requires several days to make. Up to four participants rent the kitchen and receive all necessary cooking utensils, aprons, and gloves. The session begins with an explanation of the ramen ingredients and tools. Guests then boil the noodles on a gas stove and assemble their ramen by choosing one of four flavors: chicken white soup ramen, seafood chicken white soup ramen with clam broth, Chinese soba (soy sauce ramen), or sea bream dashi salt ramen. Participants add their preferred toppings before eating the ramen they have made. The experience is suitable for children aged about seven and older; infants cannot join due to the use of the gas stove. Lunch is included in the session. The experience starts promptly at the scheduled time, and a delay of more than fifteen minutes will result in cancellation to avoid affecting following bookings.
