Overview

The Paris Seine River Sightseeing Cruise by Bateaux Parisiens departs from the feet of the Eiffel Tower. This glass-enclosed boat tour lasts between one hour and eighty minutes, depending on river conditions. Passengers travel along the UNESCO World Heritage-listed banks of the Seine River, passing many of Paris’s main landmarks. The route includes views of the Eiffel Tower, Pont Alexandre III, Invalides with its golden dome housing Napoleon Bonaparte’s tomb, the Assemblée Nationale, Musée d'Orsay, Saint Germain des Prés, Pont Neuf - the oldest bridge in Paris - Notre Dame Cathedral, the Latin Quarter, Île Saint-Louis with its typical architecture, Pont Marie, Conciergerie where King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette were imprisoned, the Louvre Museum, Place de la Concorde with its Egyptian obelisk, Grand Palais with its glass dome, and Pont de la Concorde built from stones of the Bastille prison. Audio commentary is available in fourteen languages and can be accessed through onboard audio guides or a smartphone app. Passengers do not need to book a specific departure time in advance; they can select any available time on the day of the cruise by presenting their voucher at the quay. A guide is also available onboard to answer questions. Food, drinks, hotel transfers, and souvenir photos taken at boarding are not included. On French National Day, July 14, the last departure is at 5:00 PM, and schedules may vary on holidays.
