Overview

This guided climbing tour of the Eiffel Tower in Paris is a cultural activity lasting about three hours. The tour begins near the base of the tower, where the guide introduces the structure and arranges entrance tickets. During busy periods, there may be waits at the ticket desk and security lines; the guide will use this time to share information about the tower's history. The main part of the tour is a fully guided ascent by stairs to the second floor observation deck. Along the way, the guide explains the tower’s design and history. At the second floor, visitors can view Paris landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, and Notre Dame. After the guided climb, guests may choose to take the stairs or elevator back down. There is an optional upgrade available to access the summit (third level) by elevator after reaching the second floor. This summit visit depends on availability and may be restricted due to operational reasons or weather. After the guided portion, visitors have free time to explore inside the tower at their own pace. If the option is selected, the tour can also include a one-hour river cruise on the Seine. The cruise departs about 200 meters from the tower and features live commentary from a local guide. This boat ride offers additional views of Paris landmarks from the river.
