Overview

This cooking class is based on traditional French cuisine and runs for about 6 hours in Paris. If you select the longer option, the experience begins with a visit to a food market in the Latin Quarter to choose fresh ingredients. Afterward, you plan a three-course dinner and prepare it under the guidance of a professional instructor. The class includes tips and techniques to improve your cooking skills. Once the meal is ready, you sit down to enjoy your dinner accompanied by a selection of white and red wines totaling half a bottle per person, along with French cheese samples. The small group size is limited to twelve participants, allowing for personalized attention. Equipment, attire, and a Drop-Stop device to ensure precise wine pouring are provided, and you receive an electronic copy of the recipes used. Gratuities are not included.

If you've chosen the 4.5-hour class, head to the cookery school in the early evening and meet your instructor. First, plan your 3-course dinner, and then make a start as your instructor shares helpful tips on traditional French cooking techniques. For a more complete cookery experience, upgrade to the 6-hour class. Begin with a visit to an open-air food market & wander the stalls and markets with your instructor to pick up the ingredients you’ll need to prepare your meal. During your 2-hour cooking time, follow your menu plan and enjoy a glass of wine or two as you work. With your 3-course dinner ready, head into the dining area with your fellow cooks to enjoy the delicious meal you’ve prepared. With half a bottle of white and red wine, sample one French cheese and learn the fine art of pairing food with wine. After your meal, listen as your host sheds light on the traditions and customs concerning French culture and cuisine.
