Overview

This private Seine River cruise in Paris lasts ninety minutes and includes French Champagne, bottled water, all fees, and taxes. The cruise departs from Port Javel Haut, located at 2 Port de Javel Haut, opposite the Statue of Liberty replica on Île aux Cygnes. Passengers should arrive fifteen minutes before departure at the meeting point, Escales Beaugrenelle. Two types of boats are available: a smaller boat that accommodates up to four passengers without a table, and a larger, more comfortable boat with seating for up to eight passengers and a superior sound system. The cruise is private regardless of the number of passengers, and pets are allowed on board. The route follows the Seine River and passes the Statue of Liberty replica first, then the Eiffel Tower, Pont Alexandre III bridge, the Orsay Museum, and the Louvre Museum. The boat continues under Pont Neuf, the oldest stone bridge in Paris, before offering views of Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Paris Plages artificial beaches along the riverbanks. After completing the circuit, the boat returns to Port Javel Haut. The operator recommends using the provided Google Maps link to find the meeting point and notes that city traffic and taxi availability may cause delays. The operator will wait up to sixty minutes for late arrivals, but this reduces the cruise time and no refund is given if the departure is missed.

Itinerary

1

Statue de la Liberte

View the Statue of Liberty replica from the boat. This statue is located on Île aux Cygnes on the Seine near the Eiffel Tower. It is 11.5 meters tall, weighs 4 tons, and is about one-fourth the size of the original in New York.

2

Eiffel Tower

See the Eiffel Tower from the water. This iconic iron structure is the tallest in Paris and was built for the 1889 Universal Exhibition to mark the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. It stands on the Champ de Mars in the western part of the city along the Seine.

3

Louvre Museum

View the Louvre Museum from the boat. Formerly a royal palace, it is now one of the world’s largest and most visited art museums. The complex covers 60,600 square meters and holds about 350,000 works of art, including the Mona Lisa, Venus of Milo, and Code of Hammurabi.

4

Pont Alexandre III

Pass under the Pont Alexandre III bridge built between 1896 and 1900. Named after Russian Emperor Alexander III, this bridge symbolizes the Russo-French alliance and features emblems of France and Russia. It is an example of a pure metal structure near the Eiffel Tower.

5

Pont Neuf

See Pont Neuf from the boat, the oldest stone bridge in Paris built in the 17th century. It connects Île de la Cité with both riverbanks and was the first stone bridge constructed in the city.

6

Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris

View Notre-Dame Cathedral, one of the world’s most famous cathedrals. Its construction lasted over 180 years from 1163 to 1345. The name means 'Our Lady' and refers to Mary, the Mother of God.

7

Paris Plage

See Paris Plages, the temporary artificial beaches set up each summer along the Seine. This city initiative closes roads along the riverbank for sandy beaches and palm trees during July and August.

8

The Seine

Cruise along the Seine, one of France’s longest rivers, flowing through the center of Paris.
