Grevin Museum

The Grevin Wax Museum was created by journalist Arthur Meyer in the 19th century to present life-size wax models of notable figures featured in the daily paper 'Le Gaulois'. The museum has been renovated and now features displays representing Parisian life from the 20th century and beyond. Visitors see scenes from significant historical events and current affairs, including spaces such as a brasserie, theatre, and artists' studios. The collection includes about 300 wax figures like Louis XIV, Mozart, Jean Reno, and Leonardo DiCaprio. A free tour explains the process of making wax figures, and children can learn how the sculptures are created.
