Pinacoteca Ambrosiana

Located five minutes from Piazza Duomo in Milan, the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana houses the Codex Atlanticus exhibit featuring Leonardo da Vinci’s notes and drawings. The exhibit rotates selected pages from the over 1,000 pages in the Codex. Visitors can also access the library where the full Codex is stored. The museum’s collection includes artworks by Botticelli, Titian, Raphael, and Caravaggio, including his still life Basket of Fruit. Visitors decide how long to stay; about 1.5 hours is suggested.
