There are two entrances to Plitvice Lakes National Park: Entrance 1 Rastovača (44.905280,15.611835 / 44°54’19.0″N 15°36’42.6″E) and Entrance 2 Hladovina (44.881796,15.622529 / 44°52’54.5″N 15°37’21.1″E). Both are located on the same road, close to each other and near the lakes. The ticket must be presented at the entrance booked in order to receive the official entry ticket.
Visitors should arrive no later than 55 minutes after their booked start time. For instance, if the entrance is booked for 10.00am, the voucher must be exchanged and entry made no later than 10.55h.
Parking is not free; car parks charge fees except some smaller free lots far from the park entrance requiring a longer walk.
Between November 1 and April 1, weather may cause trail closures or vehicle restrictions; daily info is posted at the park entrance.
Dogs on a lead are allowed in the park and on shuttle buses and ferry boats.
Student discounts do not apply to this ticket.
The park is open year-round regardless of weather, though some paths or lakes may close seasonally; latest info is on the park website or at entrances.
