Ana, a nun who escaped a World War I attack on her convent by fleeing through a secret tunnel to the beach.

Praia do Camilo is accessed by a wooden staircase and is considered the most beautiful beach in Lagos municipality. It sits below cliffs that offer views of the coast between Lagos and Albufeira. The beach is divided by a large rock formation, which visitors can walk through via an excavated tunnel. The tunnel walls contain many shells embedded in the rock.
