Overview

This three-hour motorized tour takes place around Porto in the Serras do Porto Natural Park. Participants drive a 4x4 buggy themselves, navigating rocky trails and natural terrain that regular cars cannot access. The tour includes a stop at the Roman ruins of Castro de Monte Mozinho, the largest Roman Castro on the Iberian Peninsula, located in the Penafiel municipality. Visitors spend about 10 minutes exploring its grounds. Next, the route leads to the village of Quintandona, where all buildings are constructed from schist, reflecting typical Portuguese rural architecture. The tour also includes a visit to the "Rally de Portugal" Shakedown area. Before starting, participants receive a safety briefing and are provided with protective goggles and a waterproof suit if it rains. Optional pickup and drop-off are available from Porto or Gaia.
