Overview

This semi-private walking tour in Prague lasts three hours and covers all the main synagogues and the Jewish Cemetery within the Jewish Quarter in detail. The group size is limited to six to eight participants to maintain a calm and personal atmosphere. The tour is led by an expert guide from Pavel Batel's research team, who provides in-depth historical information. The itinerary begins at the Old-New Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in Europe, with a twenty-minute visit inside. Next, the group visits the Maisel Synagogue for twenty minutes, where an exhibition on Prague's Jewish history is displayed. The tour then continues to the Old Jewish Cemetery, one of the best-preserved medieval Jewish cemeteries in the world, with a twenty-minute stop. Afterward, the Pinkas Synagogue is visited for twenty minutes; it serves as a Holocaust memorial dedicated to the Czech Jewish community. The final stop is the Spanish Synagogue, known for its Moorish revival architecture, where visitors spend twenty minutes.
