This private snorkeling tour takes place at Akumal Beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, lasting one hour. The tour is reserved exclusively for one group, with no mixing of other guests. A certified divemaster and biology graduate leads the tour, focusing on safety for both participants and green sea turtles while following local conservation regulations. Before entering the water, participants receive instructions on using snorkeling equipment; swimming skills are required. The tour follows the official CONANP circuit within Akumal National Park to protect the marine environment. Included are a lifejacket, snorkeling gear, access to Akumal National Park, use of showers and restrooms, and lockers. A high-quality photo and video package is available for an additional cost. Transportation to the site, parking fees, gratuities, snacks, and refreshments are not included. Akumal is a small community that supports this safe and regulated marine area. If the group has fewer than four people, booking must be arranged directly with the operator.

TO BOOK A GROUP UNDER 4 PEOPLE CONTACT MARINE LIFE AKUMAL MX DIRECTLY BY PHONE OR EMAIL. THE WHOLE TOUR IS SWIMMING. It requires swimming skills because it is performed in the open ocean. Our guide will take you to the beachside to enter the sea with the SNORKEL equipment on (Mask, snorkel tube and life jacket). You will visit the official CONANP prearranged swimming circuit within the National Park and protected natural area in Akumal Bay. This course is 1 km or 0.7 miles and 50 minutes inside the swimming circuit (Time limited by the authority, no agency may exceed that time). You are guaranteed to observe green turtles. You will also find tropical fish, rays and other marine organisms that occasionally visit the reef. If it’s your first experience swimming in the open ocean, you’ll have the confidence and security to be accompanied by a professional at all times.
