Overview

Sintra is a town in Portugal known for its castles, palaces, and natural park. This private day trip from Lisbon lasts about eight hours and allows your group to explore Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais at your own pace with a private guide and driver. You will travel in an air-conditioned van suitable for up to eight people, with hotel pickup and drop-off in Lisbon included. During the tour, visit Sintra’s medieval streets and see the National Palace, which was once a royal residence. Travel through the Sintra National Park, observing local flora and rare trees, and pass by landmarks such as the Moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace, and various chalets. You will select two palaces to enter with your guide - options include Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Monserrate Palace, or Moorish Castle. Tickets for these palaces are not included, but the guide can help skip regular lines at Quinta da Regaleira and Pena Palace (note there is a separate line inside Pena Park to enter the palace). At the end of the day, visit Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, located on the Atlantic coast.
