Overview

This half-day shared tour visits Putrajaya, located 25 kilometers south of Kuala Lumpur, using a seat-in-coach (SIC) arrangement. The tour lasts about four hours and includes hotel pickup from selected hotels in the Kuala Lumpur City Golden Triangle area for bookings of two or more adults. The transportation is in an air-conditioned vehicle driven by an English-speaking driver who provides commentary inside the vehicle only. The tour begins with arrival at the Putrajaya cruise center, where the driver issues boat tickets. Participants then take a sightseeing river cruise lasting approximately 45 minutes. If the river cruise is not operating, it will be replaced by a traditional boat ride. After the cruise, the group stops for a 15-minute photo opportunity at the Putra Mosque, known for its pink dome. Additional 15-minute photo stops follow at the Federal Government Administrative Centre, Perdana Putra (the Prime Minister’s office building), and Putra Bridge. The tour includes the boat ticket and transportation but excludes meals, beverages, Wi-Fi, personal expenses, and gratuities. Participants should follow the mosque dress code: women must wear long sleeves and scarves, and men must wear long pants. Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the vehicle. Infants and children under three years old are not permitted on the cruise. The tour may include other guests and vehicle type depends on the number of participants on the day. Participants should be prepared for possible traffic delays and bring rain protection, as the tour operates in all weather conditions.
