Pyramid-Lake Cedar Canoe Launch
Participants begin with a brief paddle instruction and are fitted with a PFD before boarding a 25-foot cedar strip canoe at the sandy beach of Pyramid Lake Resort. The canoe, handcrafted locally and designed for up to 6 people, offers a stable platform for a 2.5 to 3 hour paddle around Pyramid Lake at the base of Pyramid Mountain. The route includes wildlife viewing, mountain views, and a midway shore break with snacks such as fruit, baked goods, coffee, and tea. After the break, the group resumes paddling to return to the starting point.
