Overview

This 6-hour day trip from Mexico City begins early at dawn with transportation to the Teotihuacan archaeological site. The tour starts at the Pyramid of the Moon, where participants can climb to the permitted level for views over the valley and the Causeway of the Dead. From there, the group walks along the entire Causeway of the Dead from north to south, passing temples, palaces, and ancient structures. Midway through the walk, there is a 35-minute stop at El Quetzal Artesanias, a cooperative of local artisans. After the break, the tour continues to the Pyramid of the Sun to learn about its significance. The visit concludes at the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, known for its feathered snake sculptures and distinctive architecture.
