Overview

This 7-hour tour departs from Riviera Maya with hotel pickup in Playa del Carmen by air-conditioned minivan. The first activity is an extreme ride on 450 cc CAN-AM 4X4 ATVs through the Mayan jungle. Helmets are provided, and drivers must be at least 16 years old. Children aged 8 to 15 must ride double with an adult. After the ATV ride, the group visits the Tulum archaeological site, located on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, where participants have time to explore the ruins. The tour then continues to an underground river cenote for snorkeling in clear waters; basic swimming skills are required. Lunch is included and served during the tour. A professional guide accompanies the group throughout the day. Transportation back to the hotel in Riviera Maya concludes the tour. Optional collision insurance is available for an additional fee. A natural conservation fee must be paid at pickup. Participants should bring comfortable clothing, water shoes, a bathing suit, biodegradable sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and cash for extras. This tour is not recommended for people with severe physical limitations, heart problems, pregnant women, or those under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Reservations made less than 24 hours before the tour must provide hotel information or pickup is not guaranteed.
