Overview

This three-hour walking tour in Rome offers a small group experience with up to 18 people. The visit starts at the Colosseum, where guests enter through the gladiator's gate to access the reconstructed Arena Floor, an area not usually open to the public. The guide explains the history of gladiators, the trap door system, and the crowds that once gathered here. After exploring the Arena Floor, the tour continues to the 1st and 2nd outer tiers of the Colosseum, showing the seating areas for Rome’s wealthiest citizens. Next, the group moves to the Roman Forum for about an hour. The guide leads a walking tour through the ruins, highlighting the Temple of Julius Caesar, the Arch of Titus, the Roman Senate House, and other key structures from ancient Rome’s city center. The last stop is a 20-minute visit to Palatine Hill, known as the affluent area of ancient Rome. Visitors climb the hill to see the remains of old palaces and enjoy views over the Circus Maximus. The tour ends at this location, leaving guests with detailed knowledge of Rome’s ancient landmarks and history. Included with the tour are entrance tickets for the Colosseum with arena access, the reservation fee, and guided visits to all three sites. The tour does not include hotel pickup, food, drinks, or gratuities. Travelers should wear comfortable shoes and bring valid identification matching their booking name.
