Overview

This guided group tour in Rome lasts about two and a half hours and covers the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. The tour begins with entry to the Colosseum, where the guide explains its history and architecture. This large amphitheater was started by Emperor Vespasian in 72 AD and completed by Titus in 80 AD. Visitors spend about one hour exploring the Colosseum’s structure. Next, the group moves to the Roman Forum, a central plaza surrounded by ruins of important government buildings. Once a marketplace called Forum Magnum, the site offers insight into daily life in ancient Rome. The visit here lasts approximately 45 minutes. The final stop is Palatine Hill, the oldest of Rome’s seven hills. Located 40 meters above the Forum and overlooking the Circus Maximus, this area housed imperial palaces, including those of Augustus. Visitors spend around 45 minutes walking this historic site. The tour includes entrance tickets to all three sites, a professional local guide, and headsets for better hearing. The Colosseum ticket price is specified separately. The tour group size is limited to allow time for questions. The order of visits may change, and an entry security check is required at the Colosseum. Participants must provide full names and valid ID matching their booking information. Arrival 20 minutes before departure is required. This tour is not suitable for those with mobility or hearing impairments. Private expenses, tips, and access to the Colosseum’s arena floor, underground, or upper tiers are not included.
