Overview
Rovaniemi, located in Finland's Lapland region, offers a good vantage point to observe the Northern Lights. This small-group tour lasts about four hours and takes place in the wilderness surrounding Rovaniemi. Groups are limited to eight participants to reduce light pollution and provide more personalized attention from the guide. The guide, who also serves as the driver, will take the group by private vehicle to locations with better chances to see the Aurora Borealis. Warm clothing is provided to keep guests comfortable in cold conditions. During the tour, tea, coffee, and snacks are available. Professional photographs of the Northern Lights will be taken and sent to participants the next day. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for accommodations outside the city center. All taxes, fees, and handling charges are covered in the price.

After pickup and being dressed in professional winter clothing and boots if needed, the Aurora expert guide drives away from Rovaniemi into the wilderness. Locations are chosen based on weather forecasts, solar activity, and experience, with the option to change spots if conditions require. The 4-hour tour may include visits to up to 3 locations. The guide shares knowledge about the forest, wildlife, and the Northern Lights phenomenon, teaches traditional fire-building using natural materials, and provides hot drinks and Finnish snacks. A professional camera is used to photograph guests and the Northern Lights, with photos available for download the next day.
