This horse riding tour in Sámara lasts about two and a half hours and combines a safari through the Guanacaste forest with a ride along Buenavista Beach. The tour begins by crossing the Buenavista River. Riders then continue through jungle terrain where they can observe local wildlife such as monkeys, butterflies, birds, and crocodiles. After the forest section, the route reaches Buenavista Beach, a long, grey-sand beach without any infrastructure. Horses will enter the Pacific Ocean waves along this natural coastline. The return trip passes through fields inhabited by wild cows and horses. The tour is led by trained guides and uses calm, well-groomed horses. Helmets are provided for safety. Groups are usually small for a relaxed atmosphere, but larger groups up to 15 riders are accepted. Bottled water is not included. Children aged 5 and older can participate.
