Overview

This Abu Dhabi half-day desert safari lasts about five hours and includes hotel pickup and drop-off. The tour starts with a drive of approximately 45 minutes to one hour from Abu Dhabi city to the Al Khazna desert camp located along Al Ain Road. Upon arrival, guests take a dune drive to Al Khatim with a professional driver, passing high dunes, rocky outcrops, and golden desert sand. At the desert camp, visitors can ride a camel and visit the camel farm. Sand boarding on the dunes is available as an optional activity. Entertainment at the camp includes a Tanoura dance show and belly dancing, although belly dancing is not performed during Ramadan. Guests may also use a shisha (Arabic waterpipe), get a henna tattoo, and take souvenir photos wearing traditional Arabic dress (own camera required). Dinner is served as an Arabic BBQ buffet with vegetarian options and is accompanied by complimentary soft drinks, water, coffee, tea, and dates. Quad biking is not included in this tour.
