The sake tasting masterclass takes place in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and lasts about two hours. A professional sommelier leads the session, starting with basic sake knowledge, including how to select and drink sake properly with food. Participants taste more than eight varieties of sake, including six premium selections from small family-owned breweries. The masterclass demonstrates how sake flavors change with temperature and the shape of the sake cup. Alongside the sake, participants sample Japanese snacks that are paired to highlight how sake complements different flavors. The session includes all sake and snacks but does not provide a full meal.
