Mirabell Palace Concerts

Attend a classical music performance in the Baroque Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace. The hall is one of Salzburg's most beautiful and historically important concert venues where the young Mozart once performed. Mirabell Palace was built in 1606 by Prince-Archbishop Wolf-Dietrich, named from the Latin words for admirable and beautiful. Today, the palace hosts selected concerts with ensembles, soloists, and chamber orchestras playing mostly on period instruments from Mozart’s time. The concert programs offer a cultural evening featuring music by Mozart and his contemporaries.
