The San Juan Beneath the Waves Sea Trek Underwater Helmet Walk is a 90-minute guided tour located near the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Participants wear a special Sea Trek helmet that continuously supplies air, allowing them to walk along the ocean floor without needing swimming or scuba diving experience. The underwater walk covers uneven surfaces approximately 1.5 meters deep, where guests can see colorful corals and marine life up close. Groups are limited to four people. Children aged 8 and older can join if accompanied by an adult. The tour accommodates glasses and contact lens wearers. Towels, bottled water, and water shoes are provided. A professional guide, who may speak multiple languages, leads the group throughout the experience. Before the tour, all participants must complete a health questionnaire; certain medical conditions may prevent participation. After the underwater walk, guests have access to the general amenities of the Caribe Hilton Hotel. This tour is not recommended for people with walking disabilities or wheelchair users due to the uneven underwater terrain. Parking fees at the Caribe Hilton, gratuities, and souvenir photos are not included.
