The first part of our excursion begins down in the mouth of the canyon along the edge of the river.  As we ride we will have the opportunity to cross the river at several points which is always great fun! Throughout the ride those who wish to have some exciting gallops will have several opportunities to do so. After this rest stop we continue on our trusty steeds up-and-out of the canyon until reaching it's spectacular cliffs. Here we make a 20 minute pause break in order to take some completely spectacular photos. It is also here that whoever wishes to will have the opportunity to rappel off the sheer 150 foot-high cliff faces!  Then we continue over the plains and amongst the cattle.  After a short while we reach a further edge of the canyon and begin a 40 minute descent back down to it's rocky bottom, where we once again find the winding river named La Virgen which we will continue to cross at several more points. For the grand finale the ladies back at the ranch will have ready for us one of the most delicious organic ranch-style meals that you will ever experience.
