Overview

This small-group bus tour in Santorini lasts about four hours and includes visits to three local wineries located in different countryside areas. The tour begins with a walk through a vineyard on volcanic soil where the guide explains the distinctive grape-growing methods of the island. At each winery, participants explore the cellars where wines are bottled and aged. During the tour, guests taste between 10 and 12 wines, including varieties such as Assyrtiko, Nykteri, and Vinsanto. Tastings are accompanied by local cheese, dry bread, and other snacks. Transportation is provided by an air-conditioned private vehicle with pickup and drop-off at all car-accessible points in Santorini. The group size is kept small to allow personal attention throughout the tour. The wineries included are Estate Argyros, known for its ocean-view tasting room and award-winning Mavrotragano red wine; Anhydrous Winery, which uses ancient techniques to produce pure, high-quality wines; and Artemis Karamolegos Winery, where guests also learn about Santorini’s wine-making history while enjoying local cheese and olives. The tour operates from April through November and can accommodate cruise ship passengers with designated meeting points.
