This four-hour tour begins in front of the Info Bosnia Tourist Information Center on Ferhadija pedestrian street in Sarajevo. After a brief introduction to the war theme, the group travels by air-conditioned vehicle along a route that includes key sites from the Bosnian War. The first stops are the locations of the Markale massacres, where civilians were targeted during the siege, followed by the Eternal Flame memorial dedicated to World War II victims. The tour continues along Sniper Alley, a main boulevard known for sniper activity during the siege. The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also noted for its collection, including the Sarajevo Haggadah manuscript. The main part of the tour is a visit to the Sarajevo War Tunnel Museum. Upon arrival, guests watch a short film and then spend about one hour learning about the fall of Yugoslavia, the wars in Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia, and the tunnel’s role as a lifeline during the siege. The tour is led by a war veteran who shares firsthand experiences and insights throughout. Next, the group travels to Trebevic Mountain, the closest mountain to Sarajevo’s center and a frontline during the siege. Here, visitors walk through the remains of the Hotel-Restaurant Eight and view panoramic scenes of Sarajevo and wartime positions. The tour then visits the Jewish Cemetery, the second largest in Europe, known for its distinctive tombstones influenced by medieval Bosnian designs. The final stop is the Yellow Fortress, an Ottoman-era fortification overlooking the Martyr Cemetery, where fallen soldiers and the first Bosnian president are buried. Hotel pickup is available for guests staying outside the Old Town. Transport is provided by an air-conditioned car or minivan with a driver-guide. Food and hotel drop-off are not included.
