Overview

This 3-hour guided bike tour in English covers approximately 140 kilometers of easy cycling routes through Seville’s main sights and neighborhoods. The tour begins with a 15-minute stop outside the Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. It continues with a 15-minute ride through Barrio Santa Cruz, the oldest district and former Jewish quarter, known for its narrow streets and small squares. Next is a 15-minute stop outside the Real Alcazar, a royal palace featuring Moorish, Gothic, Mudéjar, and Renaissance architecture. The route proceeds to the 13th-century Torre del Oro for 10 minutes, a tower that once controlled access to the port, followed by a 10-minute stop at the Giralda bell tower, originally the minaret of the Great Mosque of Seville. Riders then spend 20 minutes in the Triana neighborhood, noted for its traditional pottery industry and flamenco culture. Afterward, there is a 20-minute visit to Plaza de España, a large landmark built for the 1929 Universal Exhibition. The tour continues with a 15-minute stop at the Real Parroquia de Señora Santa Ana church, dating from 1276 and displaying Gothic-Mudéjar style. Next is a 15-minute ride through Parque de María Luisa, a green space with exotic trees, tiled benches, Moorish fountains, and historic buildings. Participants then visit the former tobacco factory, now the University of Seville, for 15 minutes, with time to look inside. The Palau de San Telmo, a baroque building originally the University of Navigators, is next for 10 minutes. The final stop is Plaza de América within Parque de María Luisa for 10 minutes, surrounded by museums built for the 1929 Ibero-American exhibition. The tour includes a bike with helmet and basket, insurance, a map with recommendations for local restaurants and flamenco, and a knowledgeable English-speaking guide. E-bike upgrades are available for an additional fee. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and participants under the influence of alcohol or substances are not permitted.
