This Siem Reap tour begins at 5 am with a visit to Angkor Wat to watch the sunrise. Before entering, visitors must purchase a day pass for the temples. Afterward, there is a picnic breakfast near the temple using food brought from the hotel. The tour then continues to Ta Prohm, a temple known for its jungle-overgrown ruins featured in the movie Tomb Raider, where visitors spend about one hour. Next, the tour proceeds to Banteay Srei, located on the outskirts of Angkor, famous for its intricate pink sandstone carvings, with about one hour spent there. Lunch is served at a local restaurant nearby. In the afternoon, the group visits Bayon Temple, built in the 13th century, which has over 200 large Buddha faces, spending about one hour there. The final stop is the South Gate of Angkor Thom, where visitors see 54 statues of demons and 54 of gods from the Hindu story of the churning of the sea of milk, along with large Buddha faces and a three-headed elephant sculpture with the god Indra. The tour ends around 2 pm with a return to the hotel, allowing time to relax or explore independently. Transportation is by private air-conditioned SUV or minivan with a professional guide who is also a historian and photographer.
