Overview

This four-hour tour by CYT begins with a 30-minute visit to Merlion Park, where participants view the Marina Bay skyline at sunset and learn about the Merlion statue, a symbol of Singapore’s origins. The tour then proceeds to Clarke Quay for a 10-minute stop to see the colorful riverside shophouses and lively atmosphere as evening sets in. Next, guests board a traditional bumboat for a 30 to 40-minute cruise along the Singapore River. The boat passes landmarks such as Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, the Central Business District, and Marina Bay, with illuminated views of the Fullerton Hotel, Esplanade, and Marina Bay Sands. Onboard commentary explains the historical and modern importance of the river and surrounding areas. After the cruise, the group travels by air-conditioned coach to Gardens by the Bay. At Supertree Grove, they watch the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, which lasts about 30 minutes and features illuminated vertical gardens synchronized with music. The tour then continues to the Marina Bay waterfront for the Spectra Light and Water Show, a 20-minute outdoor display of fountains, lasers, projections, and music set against the Marina Bay Sands backdrop. At the end of the evening, participants may choose to be dropped off at their hotel or at Lau Pa Sat, a Victorian-style food market known for its late-night satay stalls. The tour includes air-conditioned coach transport, admission fees, bottled water, fuel and parking surcharges, a local licensed guide, and hotel pickup and drop-off if selected.
